Green Beans with Lemon and Thyme Butter

Green beans are one of my favourite vegetables. And this must be one of the easiest side dishes to make! Just two simple steps. Blanching the green beans in slightly salted water and put a microwaveable plate on top of the pot of boiling water and melt a knob of butter.  Add four simple ingredients. Lemon juice, thyme, salt and pepper. You could add in some lemon zest too for a lemony freshness! 
This is more like a dressing for the beans. So, I guess you could call this a green bean salad!
