Sauteed Mushrooms with Garlic and Balsamic Vinegar

 Mushrooms must be one of my favourite ingredients. Instead of going with the same old mushroom and cream combo, an easy snack to prepare that can be eaten with toast or crackers are simple sauteed mushrooms with garlic and balsamic vinegar. Just 6 simple ingredients! (mushrooms, garlic, butter, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper) 
Saute your mushrooms with some garlic (or with shallots too if you don't mind doing more chopping) in butter of course! Butter, garlic and mushrooms are a match made in heaven. When you've cooked the mushrooms out a little, add about a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar to give it a kick and toss the mushrooms. Season them with some salt and pepper to taste and you're done.
A simple snack that makes your mouth water.
