Nathalie's Gourmet Studio

Perfectly wrapped and handled with care, a box of Nathalie's macarons are to die for! When I had my first taste of Nathalie's macarons, I actually felt like I was in heaven. I actually went back and got some more immediately. The macarons are not overly sweet and you will definitely savour the flavours that you've chosen. The techni-colour bar has all the amazing flavours laid out for you to choose from leaving you with a hard time to choose your flavours! Nathalie's definitely has one of the best macarons we've ever tasted but if you have a place to suggest to us, we'd be pleased to try, especially if you're getting the bill (;
I loved all the flavours but of course we're not going to be talking about each and every macaron we tasted. We enjoyed all except for the vanilla one which was quite a surprise. Previously I loved the vanilla macarons the most but somehow this round the vanilla was a little too strong for our liking; a little like cough medicine. One of our favourites was the chocomel macaron which we tried for the first time! I think if you were to choose between caramel and chocomel, chocomel wins hands down! (Unless of course you absolutely love caramel and dislike chocolate but what?!)

Our all time favourite will always be Nathalie's passionfruit macaron out of the whole lot. No other place does passionfruit as good as them! A lot of other times, most places end up making their passionfruit macaron taste like dish wash and rather artificial. However, at Nathalie's the tanginess of the passionfruit is balanced out perfectly with just enough sweetness.
Head on down to Nathalie's Gourmet Studio and have a try! But they're closed on Mondays in case you're wondering (We had to learn that the hard way) :)
