Okra Fried Egg

A lot of the time in an Asian household you'd find yourself cooking fried egg to accompany other dishes for a meal. The usual would have onions and prawns. Sometimes, you can even cook it with oysters. Another interesting change you could try is to fry it with some okra (or ladies finger). It'll have a totally different texture and taste and all you need is just one modest vegetable to do the trick! This is way too easy!

  • Oil
  • Eggs
  • Okra
  • Soy sauce
  • Spring Onions
  1. Crack eggs into a bowl, add soy sauce and beat the eggs.
  2. Slice the okra into fairly thin slices and fry in a hot pan.
  3. Pour egg mixture over and fry egg!
  4. Add spring onions to garnish.
Fry the okra.
Garnish with some sliced spring onions.
Now wasn't that easy?
